The Ohkay Owingeh Housing Authority (OOHA) was established in 1997 to provide safe, decent and affordable housing to Tribal members living on the reservation. As the Tribally Designated Housing Entity (TDHE), OOHA was designated by the Ohkay Owingeh Tribal Council to administer the Tribe’s Native American Housing and Assistance Act (NAHASDA) block grant funding and use it to reinvent housing and community development on the reservation.

  • Administer the Mutual Help Program
  • Provide homeowner maintenance training
  • Assist with qualified contractors for rehab-by-owner projects
