The Ohkay Owingeh Tribal Lakes are located in Ohkay Owingeh, nestled in the beautiful valley between the Sande Cristo Mountains to the east and Jemez Mountains to the west. Fishing is by permit and is available at the lakes, no state fishing license is required. The lakes are open from February – December and regularly stocked with trout and catfish, days of operation are Tuesday through Sunday and some holidays.

The lakes also offer picnic areas, large canopy rentals for out-door parties and is a great place to exercise such as walking/running. Because our lakes attract a variety of birds/ducks, it is a great place to come and bird watch. For more information, please feel free to contact us.
