“The fundamental purpose of the Ohkay Owingeh Senior Citizens Program is to address the needs of the Ohkay Owingeh Tribal Elders, who are members and age 50+, not receiving the necessary human services due them as well as to serve in renewing their rightful role in the social relationship with the community. The program will provide the allowable services for our Ohkay Owingeh Elders, whose efforts and suffering have provided us, today’s Tribal Administration and Tribal membership, the education, right and ability to make provisions that will enhance the future conditions for all concerned.”
